iTS Leadership approached us to create a unique team building experience for leading pharmaceutical company that was taking place in New York City.
After lots of brain storming and having to take into consideration the endless practicalities involved that we had to work around such as transportation to America, storage and time restraints we decided to build them the NYC famous skyline.
We researched the most famous landscapes of NYC, then illustrated, printed and produced the Golden Gate Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Centre, Chrysler Building, One World Trade Centre, Trump Soho (where the teams were staying) and Madison Square Garden.
One of the requirements was for the models to be packed into hand luggage for the flight, so every building was carefully designed and produced as a flat pack system for easy transportation. The landmarks were to range in size from 400mm to 1500mm high.
Located around the sides of each building, we used augmented reality applications – to incorporate videos, photos and facts that the team could activate sing their smart phones.
Using augmented reality, the teams were able to access videos of their colleagues talking of the expectations of the event, bizarre NYC facts and highlight reels of some of the experiences they were going to have such as watching the New York Rangers play at Madison Square Garden.
Due to the success of the event and the skyline, the company decided to transport the entire system back to England where it now takes pride of place in their offices!
“Our clients are the top blue-chip pharmaceutical companies in the world, who expect the very best from their suppliers and 1THIRTY3 help us give them just that, every time.”
